Crime Author Meeting with Three of Denmark's Greatest Crime Writers

At FÆNGSLET in Horsens, three of the country's most widely read crime authors sit down with host Lida Wengel for an evening of conversations, book signings, and audience questions.

Katrine Engberg presents Tandfeen - a rumour-driven crime novel about violence, powerful men, and the silence that conceals them. The story follows Birger as he searches for sex worker Paulina when she fails to show up for their meeting, gradually realizing that certain men are dangerous to cross - while rumours spread on Reddit. Poul Madsen introduces Kejseren af Christiansborg, the second book in the series The Will to Power, which moves from the corridors of Christiansborg to Esbjerg's biker scene and drug trafficking. Walther Rebernik discusses his critically acclaimed Jan Rose series, in which a retired defence lawyer accidentally witnesses a crime and finds himself caught between the police and the criminal underworld - trapped in lies, betrayal, and vigilantism.
