The Climate Paradox

A large majority of Danes are concerned about climate change and support ambitious climate policy - yet this concern does not lead to changed behaviour. Air traffic is rising, consumption of imported clothing and fast fashion is growing, and meat consumption is not declining. Nevertheless, politicians are reluctant to regulate consumption as part of climate policy.

Bedsteforældrenes Klimaaktion in Albertslund is hosting a debate evening on the question: how does climate action become a public matter?

Two experts will participate: Mads Ejsing, postdoc and member of the expert group for Copenhagen Municipality's climate citizens' assembly, and Jens Friis Lund, professor and co-founder of the research initiative Climate and Transition Council.
