Mikael Hansen has worked with land art for over 40 years - an art form that uses landscape and nature as material - based in the Vestegnen region, Albertslund, and Vestskoven. Among his works is a 5,000 square-meter nature reserve in Vestskoven, created in collaboration with the Danish Nature Agency.
He has also created works in several places in Denmark and internationally, including South Korea, Germany, and Italy.
In this illustrated lecture, he traces his own practice from the first project in the Wadden Sea through experiments in Vestskoven to his most recent work in South Korea. The lecture is held in Galgebakkens Beboerhus.
