A biographical film about Michael Jackson starring his own nephew in the title role, built around a broad selection of Jackson's music. Critics have noted that the film overlooks the numerous allegations of abuse and misconduct that marked the later part of his career, instead presenting an idealized portrait of the pop star.

The screening takes place at MusikTeatret and is arranged in collaboration with the venue as part of a four-film series about artists who live close to music. Before each film, a director, fan, or critic takes the stage to put the work in perspective.
