Hune Church welcomes Thy Chamber Music Festival, where young musicians from around the world gather for chamber music. The festival has attracted international talent for over 30 years, and this year saw record interest: 95 musicians applied, but only 15 were selected. The young participants are between 20 and 31 years old and come from 12 different countries across four continents. The concert at Hune Church features 11 musicians and professors: Ana Manastireanu, Annette von Hehn, Antonio Iampietro, Alexander Gebert, Caitlin Chin Kai Li, Daniel Blumenthal, Lucia Molinari, Mathew Lee, Piotr Thieu Quang, Ralitsa Krasteva and Woojin Lee. Among the young participants are musicians from Romania, Italy, Singapore, the USA, Poland, Bulgaria and South Korea. The programme offers lively and varied chamber music by Grażyna Bacewicz, Thomas Adès, Anton Arenski, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Martin Stauning - from string quartet and clarinet trio to piano quintet. A special evening with international talent, experienced musicians and chamber music in close collaboration.
