Before 'Stand by Me' is shown in Krøyers Have, Salig Simons Gaard invites you to dinner with picnic and forest walks as the evening's theme - inspired by the film's story of friendship, adventure, and childhood summer days.

The menu blends the American universe with the restaurant's gastronomic style: grilled cheese with tomato soup, snobrød with spiced herb sausages, cold potato salad with fresh Danish peas, crispy chips with venison tartare, and blueberry tart for dessert.

About the venue: Filmhaven

Filmhaven is the open-air cinema that takes over Krøyers Have park in Svendborg each year during the SVEND Filmdage festival. Throughout the festival week, free screenings run from morning to late evening on a large outdoor screen, with lounge chairs, picnic benches and room for blankets. The programme ranges from short films and children's titles to crowd-pleasing features, and the week ends with the SVEND Prize ceremony - Denmark's only film award decided entirely by public vote.
