Friday Walk: Nature Hike around Hundested, approx. 16 km

Friday walk on 28 August: nature hike around Hundested, approximately 16 km. Meeting point is Hundested Harbour at 10:20 (the ferry arrives from Rørvig at 9:55). If joining the ferry from Rørvig, meet at Rørvig Harbour at 9:45. The walk starts from Hundested Harbour and follows beautiful hills north of Hundested with views over the Kattegat. Along the way we pass Knud Rasmussen's house. Then paths lead inland, down to Sølvager, where a small charming cable ferry sails to Kulhuse. The walk continues along beach and cliffs towards Lynæs Harbour with beautiful views over the fjord. After Lynæs we walk along roads and smaller paths back to Hundested Harbour. The walk is approximately 16 km long and the route is a good mix of small trails, gravel paths and some asphalt. The pace is approximately 5 km per hour, and the walk is expected to take approximately 4 hours including breaks. We take a break midway where we eat our packed lunches. There are a few toilets along the route. Remember to bring clothes for the weather, drinks, packed food and perhaps some snacks. Feel free to bring coffee or tea for the walk. Ferries return to Rørvig at 14:25 and 15:25. If interested, you can book a ticket via Billetto. The price for the walk is 100 kr. including VAT. The amount is not refunded in case of cancellation. If the walk is cancelled, 100 kr. is refunded (Billetto's administration fee is not refunded). The ferry ticket is not included in the price. The ferry ticket price is 80 kr. each way, which you pay separately. NOTE: Registration is only valid once payment for the walk has been made.
