Folkehuset Værhed - Shared Dinner

Folkehuset Værhed invites you to a shared dinner with meaningful conversations. Some of the best conversations happen when we slow down, share a meal, and meet people we might never otherwise have spoken with. That is the idea behind Værhed. At our first dinner, participants described the evening with words like safe, informal, present, and exciting. Many found it surprisingly natural to talk with people they didn't know, and several said they had deeper conversations than expected.

This evening is not about networking, performance, or small talk. It is about good conversations.

What can you expect? We gather around a shared table. When you arrive, we show you to your seat. We arrange the tables thoughtfully to create the best setting for engaging and meaningful conversations. There is no introduction round. No agenda. No exercises. Just a good meal and space for conversations to unfold naturally.

Come as you are.

The food: We serve a shared meal with bread and accompaniments, plus either a main course (possibly with cake) or two lighter dishes. This time we expect to serve two lighter dishes, but since Værhed is still in its startup phase, we publish the final menu a few days before the event on our website VÆRHED. Beer, wine, and soft drinks can be purchased on site.

Practical information: Doors open 10 minutes early, so there is time to find your seat and settle in. There is limited parking at the venue with about 19 spaces, but options in the area, and the light rail stop is right across the street, making it easy to get there by car or public transport. We look forward to welcoming you to an evening of good food, presence, and conversations that may stay with you long after you leave.
