Bryld - A World Across

Join a journey back to 1980s Denmark - a time of shoulder pads, Walkmans, nuclear threats, unemployment, and a society at war with itself - and a reunion with one of the country's most distinctive voices: Tine Bryld. The audience meets Tine as she celebrates her 50th birthday, and everyone is invited! But beneath the festive colours lies a pressing unease. Is there really so much to celebrate when the world is full of chaos? The audience gets a glimpse into Tine Bryld's world, when she was Denmark's social counsellor, provocateur, and caring radio voice. She had seen most things - and tried even more. With equal parts curiosity and voracious appetite for life, she managed to meet young people eye to eye with a credibility that made her a lifeline for an entire generation. But everything has a price - and it costs to be Denmark's social counsellor, radio host, and substitute mother.
