'The Shedding' is a raw and experimental performance by contortionist Elise Bjerkelund Reine, where the audience faces each other with their gaze directed toward the performer. The artist's body, flesh, thoughts, and madness are central. The performance blends circus, performance art, visual art, theatre, and dance, sharply questioning the sexualization of the contortionist and romanticized depictions of violence against women. The themes revolve around transformation, life changes, and a love that extends to death.

After the performance, the evening continues as GORY, GOOEY & GRUESOME HORROR NIGHT PARTY for outcasts, monsters, freaks, and misfits.
