Scenic Reading-Concert: My Mother Says

A scenic reading concert based on Stine Pilgaard's debut novel - a musical comedy about love, misunderstandings, and the things we never say. Sofie Torp takes the stage, with direction by Signe Hørmann Sørensen and music composed by Laurits Emanuel.

The production "My Mother Says" was performed at Aveny-T in 2024 and was praised for its balance between intimacy and humour. We meet a young woman with a broken heart trying to find her footing in relationships with family, friends, and love. In this version, the story is presented in a more intimate format as a reading concert.
