Put Your Yarn Stash to Work

A four-hour workshop with Bettina Sørensen from Furiedesign on getting your yarn collection under control and using it more creatively in new knitting projects. Bettina has a background as a yarn enthusiast and production engineer with years of industrial textile experience.

The workshop covers three areas:
🧶 Overview and organization: Create structure in your yarn stash so you quickly find the right yarn for your next project.
📏 Yarn measurements and tools: Learn simple measurement methods and concepts that help you choose the right yarn for each project.
🌟 Joy and benefit: Make your yarn stash work for you - good for storage space, your wallet, the environment, and creativity 😊.

As a participant you receive a material bag for the day plus "Fury's Cheat Sheets" - a 20-page color guide. The workshop is relevant for both new and experienced knitters, whether you have 2 or 15+ kg of yarn.

Bring 3-5 yarn scraps in different weights and types (preferably without labels), a measuring tape, writing tools, scissors, and a calculator. The price includes coffee/tea and cake, and there will be an opportunity to buy wine, beer, and water. Registration is binding and must be completed by 20.08.2026.
