About the venue: Musikbiblioteket

Musikbiblioteket is a department of Odense Central Library and has been housed in Borgernes Hus at Odense railway station since November 2017. It holds Scandinavia's largest music collection available for public lending, open to all Danish citizens. Alongside CDs, vinyl and sheet music, the venue offers a recording studio, a rehearsal room (Let's Play) and a small stage for acoustic concerts. Staff - trained musicians and music librarians - run concerts, lectures, listening clubs and community singing events.

About: Bent Fabricius-Bjerre

Bent Fabricius-Bjerre (1924-2004) was a Danish composer, pianist and bandleader who performed under the name Bent Fabric. His 1962 tune "Alley Cat" became an international hit and won a Grammy Award. He remained a central figure in Danish popular music for decades.
