STH - Service Dogs for the Disabled Dog-A-Thon Saturday 19 September 2026 in Mindeparken, Aarhus

STH - Service Dogs for the Disabled is holding a Dog-A-Thon on Saturday 19 September 2026 from 11:00 to 14:30 in Mindeparken, Aarhus. Users, volunteers, members, supporters, sponsors and all others interested are welcome. We meet at Donbækhavens car park, Niels W. Gades Vej, 8000 Aarhus - marked with P on the map and with STH flags on the day.

The programme includes a welcome, a joint walk of either 2 or 5 km on a fixed gravel path, and the opportunity to see service dogs in action. Volunteers bring cakes, and you are welcome to bring your own drinks. Registration must be completed by 15 September.

Participation is free. However, STH encourages support with 200 kr. via MobilePay 15758 or membership for 200 kr. annually - the association needs at least 100 contributions of 200 kr. per year to maintain SKAT approval for tax deductibility (§8a).

Parking is available at the meeting point and along Kongevejen - note the 2-hour time limit on some spaces, so check the signs. Bus no. 100 and bus no. 31 stop close to the meeting point; see times on Rejseplanen. All dogs must be kept on a lead, and everyone is asked to stay on the paths. The event will go ahead in light rain but may be shortened - follow STH's Facebook page for updates.
