Bipolar Autumn Celebration - Glud
Glud Museum, Glud · 100 kr. · ≈ 13 €
This is not a support group - it's a celebration for people living with bipolar disorder. Autumn brings many of us a feeling that's hard to put into words: summer is over, leaves are fading, and a new season awaits. MitLivMed wants to meet about this in nature, with hands in the soil.
You're invited to the 'Haver til Mavers' garden at Glud Museum near Hedensted, where you'll harvest what the garden offers and cook together from what you find. It's an afternoon where you can land, talk with others, and feel that the change of season can be difficult - without it having to take over everything.
Programme
12:00 - Arrival: settle in at the garden and say hello to those you meet.
12:30 - Welcome and introduction to the garden and today's plan.
13:00 - Harvest in the garden: together you find what the garden offers, which becomes today's menu.
After - Cooking in groups with help from Haver til Mavers staff.
Around 15:00 - You sit down and eat what you've made yourselves.
16:00 - Goodbye and thanks for today.
There is full understanding that this particular day can be difficult. Feel free to arrive later or leave earlier - just say goodbye before you go.
Practical information
This is an outdoor event, so dress for the weather - there is no possibility to move indoors if it rains. Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking area out of consideration for the thatched roofs in the area. There is plenty of time during the day to walk around the museum grounds and see the various farms and houses.
Tickets and costs
The ticket price covers only part of the costs - MitLivMed covers most of it. If the price is a barrier, you can request a free ticket by writing to kontakt@mitlivmed.dk - no explanation needed, though numbers are limited. The event is for people living with, suspecting, or being evaluated for a bipolar diagnosis. If you need to bring a close person with you, you can write to kontakt@mitlivmed.dk and request a companion ticket (100 kr. via Billetto).
