We Love George Michael! — Musikbiblioteket, Odense

This event showcases George Michael's MTV Unplugged session from the 1990s - a concert that has since been regarded as one of the series' finest. The intimate setlist features stripped-down versions of classics such as Fastlove, Father Figure and Everything She Wants.

During the screening, you can also explore Odense Music Library's collection of George Michael materials: CDs, LPs, sheet music and books - all available for loan. Additionally, there is a music quiz about George Michael and his musical legacy, with prizes for the lucky winners.

Price: 30 kr. including coffee/tea/water. The event is organized by Odense Music Library and George Michael fan Jannie Amsgaard Ebsen.

About the venue: Musikbiblioteket

Musikbiblioteket is a department of Odense Central Library and has been housed in Borgernes Hus at Odense railway station since November 2017. It holds Scandinavia's largest music collection available for public lending, open to all Danish citizens. Alongside CDs, vinyl and sheet music, the venue offers a recording studio, a rehearsal room (Let's Play) and a small stage for acoustic concerts. Staff - trained musicians and music librarians - run concerts, lectures, listening clubs and community singing events.
