Junior Brown creates what he calls sad-bangers - popsoul you can both cry and dance to. His background is unusual: as a baby he was found on the street in Kingston, Jamaica, by a police officer named Junior Brown, who gave him his name. He later grew up in Odense, and the meeting between his Jamaican roots and Danish upbringing shapes both his music and his Danish-language lyrics.

With singles like "dansker nok" and "hvem er jeg søn af", he has established himself as a distinctive new voice in Danish pop. His sound has been compared to Silk Sonic and The Weeknd with a touch of Kim Larsen and Lord Siva. He has performed at SPOT Festival, Uhørt Festival and Generator Festival, been support for Dos Santos and Sivas, received airplay on P3, P4 and The Voice, and has also been selected for KarriereKanonen.
