HOT LAUNDRY (US) + support: Nothing Works (DE) + Java Skull

Hot Laundry from the USA takes the stage at Råhuset with inspiration drawn from Motown, MC5, Tina Turner, proto-punk, delta-boogie, and raw blues - heavy beats, sharp guitars, and powerful vocals combined into one unified sound. The band has built a reputation for sold-out concerts and is a regular festival favorite on the international scene.

Support comes from Nothing Works (DE), formed in Berlin in late 2022. They blend 90s indie and alternative with melodic post-hardcore and political lyrics - described as a cross between Drug Church and Bikini Kill. Their debut EP Bold Talk for a Burner Account came out in July 2025, with another EP coming later in the year.

Java Skull opens the evening. The duo - Mark Burer and Jakob Øllgaard - emerged from the ashes of garage-punk band The Untamed and play raw garage-rock with roots in blues, inspired by Tom Waits and The Cramps among others. They have played at Gutter Island Festival and toured in Finland and Sweden.
