The Julejubilæum

Tarup Library celebrates its 50th anniversary with a visit from Carsten Knudsen, known as Gynter and Gertrud in The Julekalender. He takes the audience into his quirky, lovingly skewed musical universe.

The repertoire is specially curated for the evening and covers stories, songs and music from The Julekalender, the De Nattergale era, and Carsten's own compositions.

He arrives with a full arsenal of instruments: guitars, a ukulele from Hawaii, his mother's old hymn cycle, wavinrør, mouth harp and much more.
