Rikke - Gadens Stemmer

My name is Rikke, and I was born in 1976. I grew up in a dysfunctional family without boundaries or attention - and when I met a man ten years older than me at fifteen, who offered his "love", it was hard to say no. That love involved involuntary beatings, life on the street, and the beginning of heroin addiction.

At sixteen I broke off the relationship and lived alone on the street, where I prostituted myself to survive, among other things. A year later, life was so chaotic that I saw no other way out than to take my own life. I overdosed together with my best friend, Trine - and woke up 36 hours later next to her dead body.

The next nearly ten years revolved around a harrowing heroin addiction, prison, a turbulent relationship with children involved, and a tough fight against inner demons.
