In this masterclass, you will dye yarn in colours of your choice under the guidance of Kirsten Nyboe, a professional yarn dyer and author of the book "Dye Your Own Yarn". You will learn how to apply colours, which tools to use, and how to work with wool and environmentally friendly synthetic dyes.

The cost of yarn and dye is not included in the workshop price. Yarn can be purchased from 110 kr. per 100 g, or you can bring your own yarn (100% wool) - dyes then cost 25 kr. per 100 g.

The masterclass takes place at Garntorvet from 11:00 to 12:30. Afterwards, Kirsten will fix and rinse the yarn so you can spend the rest of the day at the fair. The finished yarn can be collected at 16:00 and dried at home. Remember to wear practical clothes or an apron that can withstand a dye stain.

The ticket is only valid in combination with a season pass or day ticket to Kreative Dage, which takes place 23-25 October 2026 at MESSE C in Fredericia.
