"The Normal Life" is a grotesque farce about self-censorship, self-control, and self-awareness, written by Christian Lollike. A group of people set out to celebrate the joy of living and paint a portrait of humans with unlimited possibilities - but discover to their great horror that they are being monitored by the control agency INNER-STASI, which appeals to the desire for a good, successful life and to qualities such as obedience, reason, responsibility, and vanity. Attempts to escape INNER-STASI's control have absurdly comic consequences.

The production is performed at Herlev Musical and Theatre's own venue, KÆLDERSCENEN.
