Children's Cinema presents a collection of short Christmas films featuring well-known characters - a total of 27 minutes of screening. The programme includes 'The Dog Ib Invites Esther N', 'Littlefinger - Little Brother', 'Festive Birds - The Gift', 'Wild Animals - Christmas Star' and 'Little Toot - Tanglewood Christmas'.

The event is for children aged 3 to 6 years. Admission is free but requires registration from 1 December by calling 3639 2040.

Hvidovre Hovedbibliotek is the main public library of Hvidovre Municipality, situated on Hvidovrevej close to the town hall. The building houses study spaces, meeting rooms, a children's section and a café alongside its collections of books, e-books and newspapers. A regular programme of author evenings, reading clubs and cultural workshops runs throughout the year. As an open library, the building is accessible every day from 07:00 to 23:00, with staff on hand during regular opening hours.
