A Circle Of Friends is the acoustic americana project of Danish singer and radio host Alex Nyborg Madsen (born 1960, Frederiksværk), formed as a return to his musical roots. The band moves between americana, roots, alt-folk and alt-country, with acoustic string instruments at the core. Madsen previously fronted heavy metal band Witch Cross, hard rock outfit Harlot and Savage Affair, while also building a long career as a radio host on DR and his own station Radio Mars. A Circle Of Friends brings together a group of younger musicians who share his passion for folk and country.
