Mads og A-holdet is a weekly dilemma podcast on Podimo, hosted by Mads Steffensen, that has run since January 2021. Each episode brings together a rotating panel of Danish celebrities and experts to tackle dilemmas sent in by listeners - a format Steffensen carried over from his 17-year run on the DR radio show Mads & Monopolet. New episodes drop every Friday, with a Monday follow-up series added more recently.
Mads & A-holdet moves in 2026 to the country's major venues with live shows in, among others, Aalborg, Odense, Copenhagen and Aarhus.
The show visits Skråen in Aalborg on 30 September 2026.
Subsequently, a performance follows at ODEON in Odense on 9 October 2026.
Mads and A-holdet performed at Folkemødet on 12 June 2025 with, among others, Helle Thorning-Schmidt, Abdel Aziz Mahmoud and Nicolaj Kopernikus on the panel.
The podcast expanded the format with a new weekly follow-up episode every Monday, "Mads and A-holdet follow up", where Mads and a panelist revisit unforgettable dilemmas from previous episodes.
