Advokatens New Orleans Jazz Band is a North Jutland jazz ensemble led by lawyer Henrik Skaarup from Brønderslev. The band plays traditional New Orleans and Dixieland jazz, drawing on a repertoire that ranges from gospel and ragtime to blues and classic evergreens. Over several decades they have become a fixture on the North Jutland jazz scene, with regular appearances at the Blå Festival in Aalborg. Guest musicians from Denmark and abroad occasionally join the lineup.
