AEC Hackathon is an international event series founded in 2013 that brings together architects, engineers, developers and designers to experiment with new technology for the construction industry. Each edition is organised locally by professionals from the AEC and tech worlds, and the concept has grown into a global community spanning the built environment.
AEC Hackathon 2026 in Copenhagen gathered 79 participants from 34 countries in 17 interdisciplinary teams, working on 12 industry challenges.
The event was held at BLOXHUB and opened with a welcome from BLOXHUB CEO Torben Klitgaard and co-founder Damon Hernandez.
The next edition of AEC Hackathon is announced for BLOXHUB in Copenhagen on March 5-7, 2027.
In 2025, the Copenhagen edition was held at the Danish Architecture Center from February 28.
