Aegteskab
Danish band Aegteskab performs at Badeanstalten in Slagelse.
AEGTESKAB is a Danish trio made up of Mike Andersen (vocals/guitar), Michael Blicher (saxophone/bass) and Eddi Jarl (drums/electronics), three established names already known from bands such as Mike Andersen Band, Blicher Hemmer Gadd and Vestbo Trio. Formed in 2022, the trio released its self-titled debut album 'Aegteskab' in March 2024, blending blues, soul, pop, rock and jazz into a raw, unguarded sound. They won a Danish Music Award for the album in 2024 and another in 2025 for live act of the year.
AEGTESKAB launches a special tour with sensory-adapted concerts for young people with autism and anxiety, where the band plays at 11 venues throughout the autumn.
The band is on tour in November 2026 with concerts including in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Randers.
Mike Andersen won yet another Danish Music Award in the blues category for the live prize, this time as a member of AEGTESKAB.
The debut album 'Aegteskab' was released and was received as a stylish and convincing take on a new Danish trio.
The album 'Aegteskab' won the prize for best Danish blues release at the Danish Music Awards.
