About

ÆTLA [ˈatla] is a Danish vocal ensemble and artist collective working at the intersection of concert, performance and stage art. The group blends polyphonic singing - rooted in Renaissance madrigals - with new composition and cross-disciplinary staging, and is known for combining technical precision with a strong sense of narrative. Their productions range from themes of desire and the body to solitude and ecological grief, developed in close collaboration with composers, directors and other artists.
