Ahead is a Danish instrumental hip-hop quartet, founded in 2017 and signed to the Blikflak label. The group plays live, analogue hip-hop with a jazz-inflected edge and is built for the stage, regularly performing with guest vocalists and rappers. Their collaboration with rapper Mund de Carlo, billed as Carlo Ahead, has drawn wide attention since 2025 - the debut EP and its follow-up GRUS (2026) both received strong reviews, with GRUS earning five stars in Gaffa.
