Anastacia (born Anastacia Lyn Newkirk, September 17, 1968, in Chicago) is an American pop and rock singer who broke through internationally with her debut album Not That Kind in 2000. Her instantly recognisable, powerhouse voice earned her number-one hits in 19 countries and total worldwide sales of over 50 million records. Particularly beloved across Europe, she has accumulated more than 225 gold and platinum certifications in 31 countries, alongside awards including MTV Awards, ECHOs and Brit Awards. Despite two serious health battles, including two diagnoses of breast cancer, she has remained a prolific live performer and continues to release new music.
Anastacia releases the album Symphonic Revolution on November 20, 2026 - a re-recording of her greatest hits with the 60-member City Light Symphony Orchestra from Lucerne.
Anastacia announced in August 2025 her #NTK 2026 tour with nine dates in the United Kingdom and Ireland in September 2026, including a return to OVO Wembley Arena for the first time since 2004.
In connection with the #NTK tour, Anastacia released a special edition of the debut album Not That Kind via Legacy Recordings to mark the 25th anniversary.
Anastacia performed in April and May 2025 a sold-out British tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of Not That Kind, with performances at, among others, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and London Palladium.
In September 2023, Anastacia released the album Our Songs - English-language versions of German hit melodies - via the Hamburg-based label Stars by Edel.
