Anja Nissen is a Danish-Australian singer born in 1995 in New South Wales, raised by Danish parents in the Blue Mountains near Sydney. She won The Voice Australia in 2014, mentored by will.i.am, and went on to represent Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv with "Where I Am", a song she co-wrote. She now releases music independently through her own label, Anja Nissen Music, most recently with the EP Same Room in 2023.
Nissen announced in September 2025 via social media that she offers individual singing lessons to a limited number of students worldwide, both online and in-person.
Nissen appears as a featured artist on the single "Stuck In My Heart", which is available on Apple Music in 2025.
Nissen released in February 2023 the EP Same Room with six original songs under her own label, Anja Nissen Music.
Nissen participated as a featured artist on "You're All I Need" with Orion Song and Christine Noel, released in December 2022.
