About

Anna Arvidsdotter (b. 1992) is a Swedish poet and writer based in Malmö, trained at the Författarskolan in Lund. Her 2022 debut collection *Händer att hålla i* (Lil'lit förlag) draws on her years as a postal worker in Malmö to explore class, precarious labour and late capitalism. Before the book came out she was already a fixture on the spoken word circuit as part of the Malmö collective Ord på scen, and critics have compared her to Swedish working-class literary figures such as Stig Sjödin and Jenny Wrangborg. She also works as an editor and writing teacher.
