Aske Stubkjær Madsen is a Danish drummer, pianist and composer from Aalborg, trained at Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium with drums as his main instrument. His solo debut EP 'Tænker Tanker' (2022) earned him a place in JazzDanmark's national jazz competition and more than 250 airplays on DR P8 Jazz. Alongside performing, he teaches music and runs Vestby Festival in Aalborg, an intimate autumn festival at venue AbZalon focused on giving emerging artists a platform.
