Bellevue String Quartet is a Malmö-based string quartet that performs on period instruments. Founded by four musician friends with backgrounds in ensembles such as Concerto Copenhagen and Barokksolistene, the group is known for conceptual programs mixing 17th-century consort music with newly commissioned works. They favour intimate, non-traditional venues like bookstores and galleries over standard concert halls.
