Bill Bailey (born Mark Robert Bailey) is a British comedian, multi-instrumentalist and actor whose career since the 1990s spans stand-up, television, film and music. He is best known for the sitcom "Black Books" and as a long-running team captain on "Never Mind the Buzzcocks", and in 2020 he won "Strictly Come Dancing" as the oldest celebrity ever to lift the Glitterball Trophy. His live shows weave absurdist humour with virtuoso musicianship across a wide range of instruments.
