Bjørn Harvig is a Danish travel writer and lecturer, and a former chairman of Eventyrernes Klub (the Adventurers' Club). He has written several well-reviewed books on travel and expeditions, and hosts the podcast Den Yderste Grænse, made in collaboration with the National Museum of Denmark. He prefers slow travel - on foot, by bicycle or on skis - and finds his stories among ordinary people in places like Central Asia, the Caucasus and the Middle East.
