Bloc Party are a British indie rock band formed in London in 1999 by vocalist Kele Okereke and guitarist Russell Lissack. Their 2005 debut album 'Silent Alarm' became one of the defining records of the post-punk revival, reaching number three on the UK Albums Chart and selling over three million copies worldwide. The band has released six studio albums to date, with a seventh, 'Anatomy of a Brief Romance', due in September 2026.
