Blodrus is a death metal band from Odense, Denmark, formed in 2021 by drummer Dennis Lucas and guitarist Sebastian Mader after both found themselves without a band. The group plays a fast, pounding blend of death metal, grind and slam with old-school nods to the 1980s and 90s scene, while vocalist Danni Rask roars and growls his way through lyrics about murder, demons and cannibalism. After several years on the Funen live circuit, including shows at Odense Metalfest and Metal Mekka, the band released its debut EP "Slaughter Them All" in January 2026.

The band played a release concert at Metal Mekka in Frølageret, Odense, together with Wrath of Belial, Hour of Chaos and Sun Dog.
Metal-Archives gave the debut EP a mixed but positive review and highlighted the band's potential.
Blodrus released the track "Teeth Of Iron" as a track premiere.
The band is booked to play at Råhuset in Copenhagen together with Rektum and Grommt.
