About

Body Rhythm Factory is a Danish trio - Peter Stavrum, Sune Skuldbøl Vraa and Rune Thorsteinsson - formed in 2008. Stavrum and Vraa both toured internationally with the percussion show STOMP before joining forces with multi-instrumentalist and composer Thorsteinsson. Their shows combine body percussion, piano, everyday objects and physical comedy, drawing audiences directly into the performance. In 2013 they won the YAMA Award for the world's best concert production for children and young audiences, presented in Brussels.

    Body Rhythm Factory performed at the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival in Bad Schwartau with their percussion show for the whole family.

  • 2013

    The group won the YAMA Award for 'Production of the Year' at a ceremony in Brussels - the award is presented by an international network behind more than 35,000 concerts per year.
