Bomles Venner
Denmark's oldest Bamse tribute band with lead singer Thomas Engelund, who resembles and sounds like Bamse. Two evenings in October with smørrebrød and draught beer included.
Bomles Venner is Denmark's oldest Bamse tribute band, honouring the music of Flemming "Bamse" Jørgensen on stages across the country for more than 25 years. Frontman Thomas "Bomle" Engelund from Horsens is known for his striking resemblance to his idol in both looks and voice, and in 2023 he reached the final of the DR talent show "Stjerneklar" as part of "Team Bamse". The band performs classics such as "Vimmersvej" and "I en lille båd der gynger" and plays regularly at festivals and town fairs throughout Denmark.
Thomas "Bomle" Engelund advanced to the final for the fourth consecutive time in a new season of the singing show "Stjerneklar", where he again represents Bamse.
Engelund bought two of Flemming "Bamse" Jørgensen's original bass guitars at auction, after fans and friends had collectively raised the money.
Engelund reached the final in DR's "Stjerneklar" as the only participant who portrayed Bamse, but had to see himself defeated by the participant who interpreted Kim Larsen.
