Carsten Seyer-Hansen (born 1971) is a Danish conductor, cantor of Copenhagen Cathedral and kapellmeister of the Copenhagen Boys' Choir since 2020. He founded the vocal group Concert Clemens in 1997 and has taught choral conducting at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus since 1998. His recordings have earned awards including the Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik and two Danish Music Awards in 2016.
Seyer-Hansen conducted the world premiere of Morten Olsen's requiem 'At stirre på solen' with Copenhagen Boys' Choir and Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen in Vor Frue Church (20 March) and Odense Cathedral (21 March).
Copenhagen Boys' Choir performed under Seyer-Hansen's direction at the Basilica of Santa Maria de Montserrat in Spain together with Tölzer Knabenchor and Escolania de Montserrat.
Copenhagen Boys' Choir was on a major USA tour in April 2025 as part of the celebration of the choir's 100th anniversary.
Seyer-Hansen conducted DR Vocal Ensemble's summer tour to Funen with concerts in Odense and Kerteminde, one of which was broadcast on P2.
Seyer-Hansen conducted the recording of Nikolaj Hess' violin concerto 'Melody' with Cæcilie Balling and Danish Radio Concert Orchestra, released on Dacapo Records on 26 January 2024.
