Chris D'Elia is an American stand-up comedian and actor, born in 1980, who has built his reputation since 2006 on high-energy, physical comedy driven by crowd work and rapid-fire observations. He has four stand-up specials - White Male Black Comic (Comedy Central, 2013) and three on Netflix: Incorrigible (2015), Man on Fire (2017), and No Pain (2020) - plus the independently released Grow or Die (2023). On screen he is known from the NBC sitcoms Whitney and Undateable and as the villain Henderson in the Netflix thriller You, and since 2017 he has hosted the weekly podcast Congratulations with Chris D'Elia.
D'Elia launched his international 2026 tour on February 28 at Palais Theatre in Melbourne, Australia, with subsequent stops in Canada and USA.
The tour includes a European block in October with shows in Oslo, Amsterdam, Frederiksberg (Copenhagen) and London.
D'Elia uploaded his latest special Grow or Die for free on YouTube in June 2025.
An edited version of Grow or Die was released on YouTube in March 2025; the special was recorded in 2023 at State Theatre in Minneapolis.
In June 2020, D'Elia was accused by multiple women of sexually inappropriate behavior; he subsequently lost his agent and management.
