Chris Minh Doky (born 1969 in Copenhagen) is a Danish-Vietnamese jazz bassist, composer and producer ranked among the world's leading double bass players. He grew up in a musical family, moved to New York as a teenager and quickly became a sideman for the likes of Mike Stern, Michael Brecker, David Sanborn and Ryuichi Sakamoto. A Grammy nominee and platinum- and gold-award winner, he was also knighted with the Order of the Dannebrog. He now lives in Denmark, where he performs, writes books and gives talks.
