Clemens (born Clemens Legolas Telling, 8 October 1979 in Roskilde) is a Danish rapper, lyricist and actor who has been active since the late 1980s. His debut album Regnskabets Time (1997) is widely regarded as one of the most important Danish rap records ever made, helping bring the genre from underground scenes into the mainstream. He won the Danish Grammy for Best Hip Hop Album in 2000 for Den Anden Verden, and has also written lyrics for theatre productions and musicals.
Clemens and Jokeren announced a joint anniversary tour for November 2026 and January 2027 to mark 30 years since their first collaboration.
Clemens released the comeback album Back from the Dead - his first full-length release in approximately ten years - featuring guests such as Anders Matthesen, Shootergang and Szhirley.
The album track 'Thousand Legs' drew attention as a more than five-minute-long criticism directed at music journalist Thomas Treo.
Clemens took the debut album Account of Time on a farewell tour in Denmark with stops in Aalborg, Odense and Copenhagen - announced as the last time the album is performed live.
Clemens announced the Account of Time tour for 2025 via Live Nation Denmark.
