Donovan Woods
Canadian singer-songwriter Donovan Woods brings his intimate, personal songwriting to Musik Loppen in Copenhagen.
Donovan Woods is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Sarnia, Ontario, working at the intersection of folk and country. His songs turn the small details of everyday life into quietly devastating narratives, a quality that has earned him a devoted following across North America and beyond. The album Both Ways (2018) won him a Juno Award for Contemporary Roots Album of the Year, and his 2024 record Things Were Never Good If They're Not Good Now is widely regarded as his most introspective work to date.
Donovan Woods plays in Copenhagen on October 11, 2026 as part of a European tour that also includes Oslo, Stockholm, Göteborg, Munich and Cologne.
Woods rescheduled the second half of his North American fall tour to March 2025 after he had to undergo surgery.
Donovan Woods released his seventh studio album "Things Were Never Good If They're Not Good Now" via End Times Music on July 12, 2024.
Woods announced his first Australian tour with seven concerts in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney and Brisbane in June 2024.
Woods played at Toronto's Massey Hall in December 2024 as part of the final leg of his Canadian tour.
