About

Editors are a British rock band from Birmingham, formed in 2002. Known for a dark, atmospheric sound rooted in post-punk and indie rock, they are frequently compared to Joy Division and Interpol. Their debut album 'The Back Room' (2005) broke them internationally and earned a Mercury Prize nomination, while the follow-up 'An End Has a Start' (2007) went straight to number one on the UK Albums Chart and brought a Brit Award nomination. Across eight studio albums, the band has continually shifted between guitar-driven rock and electronic production, with every release reaching the UK top 10.
