Eric Chenaux is a Canadian guitarist, singer and composer who has released eight solo albums on Montréal's Constellation Records since 2006. His music sets a warm, clear tenor voice against semi-improvised, fried guitar textures, moving freely between avant-folk, jazz and experimental pop. He came up through Toronto's underground scene in the early 1990s and has since collaborated with artists ranging from Pauline Oliveros to Han Bennink. The Guardian called his voice "one of the all-time great singing voices in popular music".
Eric Chenaux completed a major EU/UK/Canada tour in June 2025, which included concerts in London, Manchester, Bristol and Dublin.
Constellation Records announced in February 2025 a comprehensive EU/UK/Canada tour for Eric Chenaux, which stretched from February to June 2025.
The Quietus highlighted Delights Of My Life on its 'Best Of 2024 So Far' list and praised the album's "captivating lyrical landscape".
Eric Chenaux Trio released the album Delights Of My Life on May 31, 2024 via Constellation and Murailles Music - Chenaux's first trio album with Ryan Driver and Philippe Melanson.
