Fætters
Danish rock band Fætters performs at Mejeriet in Tarm on Friday night.
FÆTTERS is a five-piece band from Thyborøn in western Jutland, four of whose members share great-grandparents - hence the name, Danish for 'cousins'. The band plays Danish-language folk-pop about life on the west coast and has released three albums of entirely self-written songs. Their single "Gutterne på Kutterne" passed one million views on Facebook, and GAFFA described their sound as a blend of Johnny Madsen's eccentricity, Allan Olsen's regional storytelling and Coldplay's arena instincts. Lead singer Anders Toft Bro is also known from the TV programmes Fotovognen and Natholdet.
FÆTTERS returned in June 2026 to Skagen Festival, where the band describes the stage at Havnescenen as a special exhibition window for an audience from all of Denmark.
The band's April concert in Harboøre in 2026 sold out, and tickets for Støvring the same weekend were nearly gone.
FÆTTERS performed at Musikteatret Holstebro in November 2025 as part of an autumn tour, after the band according to booking material had taken a shorter break.
In 2024, FÆTTERS released the singles 'Storebælt' (May) and 'Tømmermænd' and 'Stille Storm'.
