Faustix is the stage name of Danish DJ and producer Morten Brangstrup Olsen, born in 1989 in Karise, Denmark. He broke through internationally with the 2013 co-production 'Revolution' alongside Diplo, Imanos and Kai - a single that went gold in the USA and was later used in Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign. With over 400 million Spotify streams and back-to-back entries in DJ Mag's Top 100 in 2024 and 2025, he ranks among Denmark's most prominent electronic artists. In recent years he has shifted from tropical house and EDM toward big room techno, releasing on labels including Spinnin', Dim Mak and HEXAGON.
Faustix entered DJ Mag's global Top 100 list for the second year in a row and landed on a #96 placement in the 2025 edition.
Faustix played over 70 shows during 2025 and released music on labels such as HEXAGON, Dim Mak and Spinnin'.
Faustix debuted on DJ Mag's Top 100 list as a new entry at #99 in 2024 - described by the magazine as one of the year's new names in techno.
In 2024, Faustix released, among other things, 'Lead Me To Love You' with vocalist Mougleta and 'All My Friends Are Hot', which became a summer festival favorite.
Faustix closed the main stage at Smukfest in 2023.
